Allied Resources Group Hosts Annual Professional Engineer Recognition Dinner at the Union League of Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA — Allied Resources Group recently hosted its annual Professional Engineer Recognition Dinner at the Union League of Philadelphia, bringing together Professional Engineers, Engineers in Training, company leadership, and guests for an evening dedicated to professional excellence, continued growth, and the people who help move ARG forward.
Hosted by Dennis and Linda Zatlin, the event recognized 27 Professional Engineers across ARG’s family of companies, along with 5 attending Engineers in Training who represent the next generation of engineering talent within the organization.
Each year, ARG hosts this exclusive dinner to honor the dedication, technical skill, and professional commitment required to earn and maintain Professional Engineer licensure. The evening also serves as a reminder of the role engineers play across ARG’s work in critical infrastructure, energy, industrial, technical services, and project delivery.
The event began with a cocktail hour and networking, giving attendees the opportunity to connect across companies, offices, and disciplines. Following welcome remarks from Dennis F. Zatlin, President & CEO of Allied Resources Group, guests participated in a continuing education session led by Zenaida Otero Gephardt, Ph.D., P.E., Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering at Rowan University.

Dr. Gephardt’s presentation, “Powering Tomorrow: Innovative Engineering for Next-Generation Energy Infrastructure,” explored emerging technologies shaping the design and operation of modern energy facilities, including LNG, pipeline systems, and renewable energy installations. The session highlighted how new approaches can improve infrastructure efficiency, resilience, adaptability, performance, and safety, while reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in developing the next generation of energy systems. Attendees received 1.0 PDH credit for the session.
For ARG, the dinner is more than a recognition event. It is an investment in the people whose knowledge, professionalism, and leadership support the company’s ability to deliver best-in-class services.

“As Professional Engineers, we are legally and ethically bound to hold paramount the health, safety, and welfare of the public. At ARG, we serve clients in the energy, industrial manufacturing, and life sciences industries, sectors where our work can have a direct impact on public safety,” said Christopher Antoni, P.E., P.Eng., Senior Vice President of Technical Services. “Professional Engineers represent the highest standards of technical excellence, accountability, stewardship, and leadership. Earning a P.E. license requires years of education, practical experience, discipline, and commitment. This event provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those achievements while also inspiring our Engineers-in-Training by demonstrating what is possible as they continue to grow and advance in their careers.”
This year’s recognized Professional Engineers represented a broad range of disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, chemical, and control systems engineering. They came from multiple ARG companies and locations, reflecting the strength and depth of technical expertise across the organization.
The evening also included recognition of ARG’s attending Engineers in Training, who are actively building their careers and working toward future professional licensure. By bringing PEs and EITs together in the same room, ARG creates an environment where mentorship, collaboration, and professional development remain central to the company culture.

“At ARG, our people are the foundation of everything we do,” said Dennis F. Zatlin, President & CEO of Allied Resources Group. “We host this dinner because our engineers deserve to be celebrated. Their work supports our clients, strengthens our companies, and contributes to the infrastructure and systems that communities rely on every day. We are proud to invest in their growth and proud to recognize the dedication behind their accomplishments.”
The Professional Engineer Recognition Dinner reflects ARG’s core values of teamwork, entrepreneurship, community, and integrity. It celebrates not only technical achievement, but also the people behind that achievement: the engineers who solve complex problems, lead with professionalism, support one another, and help deliver meaningful work across the company’s portfolio.
As ARG continues to grow, the company remains committed to creating opportunities for engineers to advance, collaborate, and lead. Events like the Professional Engineer Recognition Dinner are one way ARG shows that commitment in action.
By honoring its licensed Professional Engineers and supporting its Engineers in Training, Allied Resources Group continues to build a culture where technical excellence is recognized, professional growth is encouraged, and people are valued for the impact they make.
